Konqueror-only proxy?

hi, is there a way to let Konqueror use a proxy, but not the whole KDE
system? if i specify a proxy in konqueror's settings, i see this proxy
in systemsettings as well, and all kde apps would be using it. is
there anyway i let _only_ konqueror use the proxy?
the proxy is a caching program, that caused me some trouble with other
application, specially amarok, which isn't capable of fetching lyrics
anymore, unless i disale the use of this proxy.
using kubuntu intrepid, KDE 4.1.2, 32-bit
any help is appreciated
