Create a symlink to make firefox see the flash:
ln -s /usr/lib/<directory flash plugin was installed/name of
plugin> /home/<user>/.mozilla/firefox/plugins
My syntax might be wrong. It's been a while since I've created a symlink, but
it's an easy way to fix the problem.
Just google the word "creating a symlink"
