Couple of things, this bit about Wales is an example of their culture
and it is a culture that seems close to the culture of this list. If
you go to a new country then you learn their ways and language. If you
don't you will fail in that country or at least be very unhappy.
Emanoil what country are you from? I know in my home country, USA,
people talk you are talking in the counstruction field of work.
Everyone knows that it is normal and no one takes it personally. In
other areas of work like kindergarden teacher you NEVER talk like
that. In most business situations you NEVER talk like that. In a lot
of countries you NEVER talk like that in front of Women or kids but it
is OK in front of Men. This list has women, men and kids on it that
read it! If you change cultures you change how you act. If you don't
then everyone will think you are an ASS.

Japan has and interesting contrast to Wales. Miyamoto Musashi, 1584.
He killed his first man an age 13 with a sword and then went on to
kill something like 60 more people. This lead to him being a great
national hero. I wounder what would have happened to him in Wales?

I like your ideas, I like what you have said. I think you are VERY
correct but the way you say it is making you loose all your allies.
Your results remind me of Pres Bush. The USA had most of the world
behind it 8 years ago and now the world thinks we are fools. At home
his popularity is at 25%. An all time low. I am sure you don't want to
follow in this path. You want to help change Kubuntu to what it could
be or should be.

Read 2 books, that really shaped how the USA and a lot of other places
expect people to communicate. Learning what is in these books will
help you in a lot of ways.

How to win friends and influence People by Dale Carnegie. (get a first
printing, if you can, the newer ones have been cleaned up to a sick PC
level and are not as much fun to read).

NonViolent Communication, a language of life by Marshal B Rosenberg, Ph.D

If you want to be effective then you must communicate in a way that
your audience can relate to. If not then you are just making people
pissed and shooting yourself in the foot. Let your ego drop all this
fighting and anger. Apologize to those that are upset and pave a new
path. I know this can be hard when you are pissed but I hope you are
mature enough to see that you are in a new culture here and need to
adapt to win. Only a fool fights against the river for long. Go with
the flow and get something useful and good going! We really do need
your insights here!

Best,

look under the violent way he states thing that he is right and smart
and could be a great member of this list.
