Krusader won't launch programs after upgrade

I use Krusader as my file manager and before the upgrade it would launch 
programs by double-clicking on a file. After upgrading to Intrepid, it 
won't do this.  Even if I right-click and select "open with ..." from 
the context menu nothing happens. Any idea how I can get this behavior back?
