8.04 -> 8.10 VM update

    Looks like I spoke too soon.  Thunderbird refused to send a message nor
save it.  I blew away my profile, reconfigured it from scratch, it sent a
single message then refused again.  The error message is less than helpful.
It tells me there was an error but not what the error was.  I do know from
watch my exim logs that TBird is not reaching the remote server.  So it is
something in 8.10.  The really odd part is that 8.04 and 8.10 are on the same
upstream version as far as I can tell.
