OK,
I know this sounds crazy but Monday when I sarted my kubuntu hardy up to date 
with current kde4 laptop suddenly the google desktop icon appeared in teh 
panel, I clicked and it began to work! This has not worked since 3.5.9?

Now today again it will not work?? What the heck is with this?
Anyone have any answers? suggestions? I NEED GDL!
