OT: Kmail, POP3, list, thread and Gmail

fwiw, I use Kmail, POP3 from Gmail and my ISP's SMTP.  I very rarely have any 
problems and get all emails, including all list emails, even my own.  I then 
archive everything on Gmail.

I have been using this arrangement for 3½ years with barely a hitch.

And I have set the same thing up for several clients (on other ISPs), again 
without a hitch.

I only use Gmail directly, for anything other than archiving and searching the 
archive, if I for some reason want access from another computer.
