Launchpad #208802 [hardy] ksynaptics missing from repositories

Is there some one here on this list that can give this bug some attention?  

I am guessing from description that all someone needs to do is grab source 
from upstream, package, then place in the appropriate repository.  This 
appears to be low-hanging fruit that once picked, would have a fairly wide 
community impact.
