Q: copying all the kontact info from one machine to another

Hi! Your address book, if you took the standard, lies in this file:
~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf
All your contacts are there. As a safety measure you may want to copy the
entire ~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/ folder but for your pourposes I don't think it
is needed.
The Apps: section of lanzen's response contains all the folders you need to
copy. Having copied them to a pen-disk or some other storage you can just
import that information from within the application.
Unfortunately there is no unified way to import/export all your pim data in
one go. You may want to fill a bug/wish for that.
