Look in the system tray.  You should see a little icon with bars on it showing 
the strength of your current connection.  My laptop is in my sleeping son's 
room so I'm not going to go dig it out to walk you through the process, but 
if you click on it somehow you can get to a bit where it shows you what's out 
there.  Just like the same kind of little icon deal in Winders.
