e-sata question

I'm running Kubuntu 7.10 here on 2 SATA drives - 1 for / and the other
for /home, so yes SATA works on Linux. In the BIOS, what mode have you got
the SATA ports configured as?
IIRC they can be configured as part of a RAID or in IDE mode.
