hardy: kde "desktop directory view"

Hello eveyone!

I updated to Hardy some days ago.

I normally have:
1. icons on the desktop (in order to view newly discovered hardware,
like extern HD through USB)
2. and the contents of the ~/Desktop directory showing as icons at the
background of my desktop.

Since the upgrade, the background of my desktop is showing icons for
the entire content of my $HOME directory (instead of $HOME/Desktop).

Does anyone knows how to change it so that I get only icons for ~/Desktop ?
