Kubunti vs Ubuntu as a web/mail server?

I used to run postfix, amavisd-new, spamassassin, clamav on a P3, 512M
RAM machine for 60 users, using regular Debian testing.
Servers (usually) don't need GUIs, you do what you need to do from
CLI, usually. This leaves out all the overhead that a GUI requires,
and so you can do more on less hardware.
