K3b and GL DVD DL drive problem

I also got fedora 9 via torrent, and during the verify k3b said here was an
error. However, I when I installed it, it worked fine. (well the cd, I have
different problems with the distro)
Is it possible (since it passed the built in verify) that the problem is
with k3b, and maybe fedora 9 can't install on your hardware without some
tweaking? Just a thought since k3b always burns discs fine for me, but they
never pass the verify.
