 From what I had read and sort of understood it was supposed to run 
Kubuntu "from" Windows and within Windows. Of course it could just be 
"my" understooder that was wrong but..............

I guess I'll just say screw the warranty and do a normal dual boot and 
pray it doesn't bite me in the bum .
