Keyboard shortcut to open new KDE4 start menu

I quite like KickOff, the new KDE4 start menu, especially the search feature:
typing the name of an application is faster than finding it on a hierarchical
menu. However, I think it could be even faster if there was a keyboard
shortcut to open the menu, so that both opening the menu and typing the app's
name could be done without taking your hands off the keyboard.

Unfortunately, I've searched through the system settings and found no way of
configuring such a keyboard shortcut. Does anyone know how to do it?
