Seems like you and I hate the same things, For example, Konqueror is one of
the primary reasons I use KDE over Gnome.
But that's the reason I love Linux. If enough of us like the KDE3 interface,
and enough of us who feel that way are developers, it is likely there will be
a KDE 3-like desktop environment that branches off. It may not be sanctioned
by the KDEev (or it might, but the GPL allows it to happen.
Lovers of WinXP being forced into Vista don't have that option.
