Trying to use printers on house machine from the shop machine [FIXED]

It turned out that kubuntu has browsing (the net for shared printers) turned 
off in /etc/cups/cups.d/browse.conf.

I had also created an /etc/cups/client.conf with only the ServerName directive 
in it, but that was not effective until I turned browsing on in the above 
file.

I'm not at all sure I can justify the removal of a very handy feature such as 
printer sharing based on security concerns, particularly when it is all 
behind a router/firefall and not accessable from the public network.  It 
certainly does generate a PITA for those of us who do take security 
seriously, and have taken the steps to isolate ourselves from the black hats 
just so we CAN do what we want in our own little private domains.
