Problems with kwin and kwallet.

Try this from a "recovery console" (see the boot menu when you start the 
computer):
Delete the file /.kde/share/apps/kwallet/kdewallet.kwl
Next time kwallet launches it will prompt you for new password.

this may be outdated info, it is from v 7.10 so could have changed since.
