Hi Michael. it isn't obvious to me either, although the output 
from /proc/asound/cards above, shows the soundcard as detected.

I think we need the link to where the data has been uploaded to, after running 
the script. When you run the script from Gnomes terminal, it should show a 
link to a website when the script has run to completion. Just paste the link 
back in your reply.
