The bcm43xx is a wireless network driver for the broadcom chipset. I was
getting the same error when I was booting the kubuntu 5 beta, but despite the
error the computer proceeded to boot. I have always blacklisted this driver
when using K/Ubuntu because it conflicts with the bcmwl5 driver I have to use
with ndiswrapper to get my broadcom BCM4318 Airforce one card working.

If I received .01 cent for every person
that has to put in their .02 cents
I'd be rich!
