Resize/compress pictures when sending mail

We've seen already a lot of good ideas.
And i'm a bit surprized...
I've tested digikam, gwenview and installed the konq-kim package.
Digikam and gwenview areusing the same method.
konq-kim does it's job in konquerer but actually adds a lot more than what "jo 
average" needs.

Why isn't konquerer using the same method as digikam and gwenview?
I'ts all KDE ins't it?
