Don't get me wrong - I love Tom Waits.  I just came to him from the Frank's
Wild Years direction, and when I heard one of the insufferably
cute "Cotters" say that Waits had written "The Brier and The Rose", I was
floored.  But then, when I first _saw_ him (Saturday Night Live, I think),
I was surprised to find that he wasn't an 80 year old black man, either...
