Firefox is not the standard on Kubuntu, only Ubuntu. Konqueror is the
standard web browser for Kubuntu.

To install firefox you need to first open Adept by going to Systems on
the menu and then to Adept Manager, which should be at the top. After
starting Adept click on "Fetch Updates" on the upper left corner of the
screen. Then, you can just put Firefox in the search box and wait a few
seconds as adept looks for firefox. When you see firefox just click on
it then click on "Request Install". After that is done press "Apply
changes" on the top bar and Firefox will be downloaded and installed for
you.

You will probably see several files with the name Firefox, just select
the one that only says firefox.
