Hi Rob,
I hope you won't try to eat your monitor if you ever eat your words ;)
I forgot to say I tried to install a feisty within a Virtualbox, and
that in that virtualboxed feisty the same java6 firefox plugin is
happily quick :'(
I also forgot to say I had the same behaviour no matter what java plugin
(1.5, 1.4.2 or 1.6) I tried to install.
I guess I have something slowing down the applet, but I can't find
what... I was wondering if you'd have ideas about what could be wrong -
I googled but did not find anything really like what I face.
I thought it could be a firewall issue and de-activated (or so I think)
the fwbuilder custom firewall, but this changed nothing...
Cheers
