Wireless switch and hibernate

Hello,
	I installed feisty on my Dell 6400/1505 (with NVidia).
Almost everything is working out of the box. One of the few problems I 
have is related to the hibernation and the wireless switch.
On this laptop the wifi card (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG) can be 
switched on/off with the keys Fn+F2.
Once I hibernate the laptop with the wifi card off I'm not able anymore 
to switch the network card on.
Any suggestion?
Does anybody know how this kind of switches are handled...I guess I only 
have to plug/unplug the right kernel module each time I suspend....
I hope that dell will solve these kind of problems publishing somewhere 
the method...since, if I understood it correctly, this is one of the 
models shipped with ubuntu.
