KMail crashes

Kmail is stable like a sane penguin with both feet on the ice in Dapper!

Looking at the error it mentions an index 0 being out of range - that tweaks 
my suspicions about arrays - perhaps (and it's a long shot) there is a folder 
in your kmail tree that has no messages and/or it is corrupted and that's 
chocking the app. Try to ls your way around the mail store (mine is in 
~/Mail, but others report it being in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/.... 
someplace.)

Maybe that will jog another idea.
