Feisty reboot invisible??

I had a similar unexplainable problem with Edgy. I simply put "nosplash" 
  and "noquiet" instead and after that all worked well. Dont ask me why 
or how but I could never get splash to work on my system in Edgy. In 
Feisty I have no problem with this but I still go "noquiet" cause if 
things hang I like to see where it happens.
