AVG antivirus install in Kubuntu

Although there currently are very few Linux viruses, that is because we still live in a Windows world. That might not last forever. If Linux ever started getting a big market share, and I think that it will, the clowns will start writing Linux viruses. When they do, nobody is going to announce it. The first victims will find out when their system gets screwed up.

Although it is harder to get a virus to run on a Linux system, where there is a will, there is a way.

If you really want to use this (probably unnecessary for a desktop
machine, as there are very few GNU/Linux viruses), when you want to
update the antivirus

1. Open a terminal
2. Type:

kdesu avg

Then enter your password when prompted.
