The computer is a newer one with and AMD64 processor and digicam worked
fine until March 10th 2007. There were no hardware changes in the
meantime and due to the fact that the camera is detected under Kubuntu
and works fine under WindowsXP there doesn't seem to be hardware failures.
I tried to start digikam from the console. As user and as root the
program startet with the following error messages:
X Error: BadDevice, invalid or uninitialized input device 168
Major opcode: 145
Minor opcode: 3
Resource id: 0x0
Failed to open device
Any hints?
TIA
