I am not an expert but if I remember correct from earlier discussions
that is how Linux, not KDE or Gnome, deals with RAM. It takes it all so
to speak and then uses it. A 33 Mb swapfile seems like a fantastic
overkill since normal recommendation is swap=size of memory or double if
you want to use suspend/hibernate.
