Most apps won't start UPDATE

Hi Larry,
I looked...I don't have it.  I went into to the K menu, then Systems
Settings...I can't find it.  I also went into the K menu and Settings.
The only thing that's here is Emeral Theme Manage for Beryl and some
Wine config. tools.
