No sound in Dapper

Oh, and this is usually because you don't have the CD audio cable hooked up to 
your soundcard/port on the motherboard.  It could also be mixer-related.

Windows has some mode to "play over the PCI bus" or something, but Linux 
players don't do that by default.  I think some of them can be configured to 
do that, but I don't recall ever actually getting it to work in practice.  
KSCd has some option buried in its config somewhere to the effect of "[x] 
Enable digital playback," but I didn't have it working the last time I played 
with this, which was probably Breezy.
