Beryl issues in Kubuntu 7.04

I have not experienced the first two problems, but I have experienced
the third.  I am not sure how to resolve the problem, but I have
noticed that the windows that disappear are the ones that are
minimized.  So as a temporary fix, just make sure all of the windows
are not minimized before you switch to kwin.  I know that this is not
a desirable fix, but it might help until we can figure out what the
actual problem is.
