Thanks to everyone who answered so quickly. It confirms what I thought,
that 64 bit is not yet ready in Linux.
I did try it for a while with Mandriva2006, when I got my new computer
in May 2006 but I soon moved back to 32 bit. Since then I have moved
over to kubuntu Edgy (32 bit).
I just wondered if Feisty was ready yet, more than a year down the
line. Obviously not. If I upgrade I will stick with the 32 bit version.
