Getting Audacity to Work

Richard,

I would really love to get audacity to work. Maybe my sound card doesn't
support OSS . . . I will have to find out what that is. The playback device
is ALSA: Intel 8280. I just need to find the time to do more research on the
subject. Right now I have too many pots on the fire and I am trying to keep
my sanity learning a little about Kubuntu.
