Recovery from Suspend(Standby)

I have a dell E1505 with nvidia card .. don't know the specs of your 
600m.  But, maybe it's similar.  I got suspend and hibernate working by 
installing the uswsusp package, following a thread on ubuntu forums

Maybe this will work for your dell too.
