I wonder if it is feasible now to downgrade to KDE 3.5.2, and then re-upgrade
to see if this will fix the problem. My Breezy install had a new
(backported) KDE that the original Dapper release did. Or if there is a way
to fix libhal. My libs are up to date, but I think I probably have something
leftover that interferes.
