Samba and Windows

I have had to reinstall Dapper and am trying to setup Samba so XP 
Clients can see Dapper server.  I can see my Samba server from XP and 
see the shared folders, but when I double click XP network workgroup 
icon I get a popup login.  The first time I set Samba up I had the same 
problem and some one told me what to change to allow me to access 
server.  I will print out and lock up the tip next time.
