Quicktime *.mov video from internet

Have you installed w32codecs as explained at 
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RestrictedFormats?

http://www.debian-multimedia.org/pool/main/w/w32codecs/w32codecs_20061022-0.0_i386.deb

^^ download and install that file.

You can install it by clicking on it or right clicking and selecting install. 
Or you can open up Konsole (Alt+Space then type konsole and hit enter, or 
Alt+F2 then type konsole and hit enter). This should fix your problem.
