How to properly install RealPlayer for Linux

1. You may download Realplayer for Linux - http://www.real.com/
If you will go there under Linux, the web page recognizes your operating 
system and will offer Linux version - RealPlayer10GOLD.bin
Download it, change it executable (chmod a+x RealPlayer10GOLD.bin). Then 
run it as root - sudo ./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin

2. You may install Helix Player:
  sudo apt-get install helix-player

Also other stuff is available:
sudo apt-cache search helixplayer
