selecting GRUB option for next reboot

It's on system settings, has been at least since dapper.
For me (on edgy) it's located at:
System Settings -> Advanced -> Login Manager -> (Admin mode) -> Shut 
down tab, under "Miscellaneous". The drop down menu under "Boot 
manager:" just choose grub, click apply.
You need to logout and back in for it to take effect.
