Thanks, but this cannot be a speed issue because the very first thing k3b 
does -- before it does any burning or even accessing the drive itself -- is 
complain that it cannot determine the ISO size and then aborts.  It is 
probably a growisofs problem more than a k3b problem, and Nero probably uses 
something other than growisofs.
