Converting RPM packages

Response to my earlier post, I followed the How-to on the forum listed below 
concerning Lightscribe and am burning a label to my disc as I type....the 
drive light is on...I think this is a go.  For me this is another issue 
resolved in my conversion from (insert that other name brand) to Kubuntu.  I 
did not think this would be solved so quickly from when I first tried Kubuntu 
three months ago.
