Make apps invisble in the desktop pager

Hi,
I like to set Kate to be on all the desktops. It's irritating to see it appear 
in the pager, because it covers all the other little window icons. I have 
scoured the Advanced settings of the window manager but can't find anything 
like "don't display in pager". Any ideas?
