Can't access camera memory card

Maybe.  I ran into the same thing recently.  Plug, unplug, plug, unplug, plug, 
unplug, nothing.

So I started kill kio_ processes.  kio_http, kio_???  I don't remember what 
the magic words were, but when I killed the right stuck kio_ process, a dam 
broke loose, and my screen filled up with Konqueror windows and 
little "Mounting /media/something" dialogs.

Once I cleaned all of that up, everything has been fine and dandy.  I haven't 
logged out or rebooted in 25 days.

ps aux|grep kio

You don't want to kill kio_uiserver, but anything else is fair game.

pkill kio_http

etc.
