LCD Monitor recommendations

Something that most will not think about is the noise that monitors
can make. My monitor a samtron 51s was making a huge ringing noise. It
turned out that it was the dimmer that the brightness setting uses.
Setting the monitor to a brighter setting made it quiet again. Some
monitors are made well and don't make noise at any setting. It sound
just like a cheep lamp with a dimmer on it, turned down low.
