It might not be mentioned in the documentation because it is such a
common keyboard shortcut. Most applications will stick to certain
shortcuts like Ctrl+A = Select All, Ctrl+C = Copy, and Ctrl+V = Paste
(among others). Almost all apps that allow you to select something
will implement this Ctrl+A shortcut to select all.
