weird keyboard problem - SOLVED

Yes, at times the slow key settings get activated even without some one
explicitly going into the system settings and checking it.
In my case it got enabled due to improper shutdown of the system due to
complete battery discharge.
Doesn't make any sense although .. and becomes really difficult to trace it
to the key board filters!
