KAudioCreator error

Hi.

Yesterday I installed KAudioCreator (with Adept, as usual) to rip some
freshly acquired CDs and managed, as expected, to rip one of them to MP3s.

Now, when I tried to continue with the next CD, KAudioCreator throws the
following error message at me for each track when I press "Rip Selection":

Error - KAudioCreator
Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Unknown protocol ".
.

I Tried wav also, but the same thing happens then, too.

Help, anyone?
